Sirkus Requiem is upon Us

No sleep for the wicked, we need them to start saying their blessing. And we have done so with Finnbogi Pétursson when we recorded Sirkus Requiem. Our concerts were in Reykjavik and in London this year and now we have released these recording upon the world, via Smekkleysa SM, today.

This is a 30 minutes piece and it was composed especially for Sirkus Bar in Reykjavík. It is another production by Ghostigital and Finnbogi Pétursson.

What A Burning Sensation

This was the sight upon arrival in Iceland from Toronto this morning. Very descriptive of our trip to Toronto! Amazing and fun. Such a good Idea to fly direct to Toronto from Iceland.

We done 2 concerts at the Drake with Vitaminsforyou. The concerts were good. The Drake was very good place to play. Very interesting now with hindsight that we met many J people: JeffVH, Jeff2, Jeff3, John who took care of us, and Jenifer, who drove all the way from Buffalo, which is a bit amazing! Toronto was a bit like Reykjavik, vibrant, fun, cold, snowy but not miserable.

We are back now, and completing a Sirkus Requiem for release really soon. Just need to master it. As to our next album album, then we aim to finish it off in August. Adding guests to it and such in the next few months.

Is This Is What We Have Been Up To

We are still here, despite the silence since our gig at Sirkus. That concert did go well. Sirkus is very kind to us when we play there, it is tight and smokey, should stop smoking, dries us up.
We have started to work on new songs, done a few sessions in the creative process and will continue this in the next few weeks.
It is coming up to the end of the year and is fitting to leave us with an Icelandic version of In Cod We Trust

the sirkus at reykjavík art gallery, where the lobster or fame exhibition has been showing since june. it is closes at the end of august. the final concert will be einar örn performing ghostigital at gaukurinn on saturday 30th of august.
sirkus halldór laxness í listasafni reykjavíkur, heimili smekkleysu sýningarinnar humar eða frægð. sýningin lokar í enda ágúst. lokatónleikarnir verða á gauknum þegar einar örn spilar þann 30.ágúst
