Sirkus Hits London

The Gallery tore down the Sirkus bar in Reykjavik and installed it in London. Among the artists they brought along we us and Finnbogi Pétursson.

Preparing Radium

We did 2 concerts in May with Finnbogi Pétursson in Reykjavik. We called them Radium I and II and they were recorded. They have now been edited and mastered and will released as a double disc item: one stereo cd and the other as DTS and Dolby dvd, which you can play in your home movie system if you have one.
They sound really good and are a great experience to listen to. We hope to have them ready later in October for release.
Our next concert will be at the Icelandairwaves festival, of which we have played every year now. We are playing on the 19th of October, on the same bill as our mates GusGus.
We hope they will blow us off stage. In the week preceding the gig we will be working on our 3rd album. We have been a bit quiet as we have been working on other projects, and we only have 4 concerts scheduled for the rest of the year. That suffices us.

Not Clean: Best Song

Ghostigital took away one honour at the Icelandic Music Awards last night with our song Not Clean. We are glad to have got that honour, excellent song off an excellent album.
We also got honoured with the export award from Reykjavik Loftbrú which is run by the fair city of Reykjavik, Icelandair and the support of the Musicians Union and the local industry.
Yes they definately want to get us out of the country more often. We have actually played over two thirds of our gigs abroad.
We managed to thank nearly everybody, we might have forgotten to thank the city of Reykjavík, we have done so now, but we are anyway thankful everyday for living in Reykjavik.
We also done a version of Northern Lights for Kastljós on RUV TV, and it is scheduled for Friday. Catch it on tv or on the Web, starts around 7.30pm GMT.

We are at Lunga/seyðisfjörður

We have arrived in Seyðisfjörður to play Lunga Festival on Satuday. Right now, Curver is doing a DJ set of Rockabilly and 90′s classics. Mre E is soon off to tune in and out for the concert tomorrow. More then then.

We were going through our archives and found a video we done on our mobile phones last year, yes that is 2005, in March.

The track is Good Evening, which later turned into Good Morning. The vocals were done at the same time we done the video recording. Location is Hlemmur in Reykjavik.

This must be one of the earliest video done on mobile phone cameras.

The July Good Evening To US

We are currently writing new songs for some future use, we will premiere some of them next week in Seyðisfjörður when we play the LUNGA festival. We were going through our archives and found a video we done on our mobile phones last year, yes that is 2005, in March.

The track is Good Evening, which later turned into Good Morning. The vocals were done at the same time we done the video recording. Location is Hlemmur in Reykjavik.

This must be one of the earliest video done on mobile phone cameras.

Live Session on Friday

The boys looking at themselves on the video or the computer or the telephone. what technology. On Friday Curver will host a special session live, talking and speaking about his compilation Sær, which is out later this month.
The live session will be on the Net and those in Reykjavik can pop into the BadTaste shop and LobsterOrFame exhibition on Laugavegur and watch it on the big screen.
And, the boys are continuing rehearsing. Instead of composing.
