The Loppen concert was interesting for the fact that we played 6 new songs for the first time.
Asher was the engineer and did not spare the sound, it sounded so load the outside air conditioning valves rattled, and if I had not had glue on my gums my falsies would have rattled out on their own.
It was good to play new songs and our set was the longest we done.
We thank Beatless Propaganda for the work. It was great.

We Got The Beet

In our feet, how great are Stilluppsteypa? They ara amazing to watch and listen to.

We are in the legendary Studentakjallarinn or the studentcellar. Through the years it has been a place to go and sometimes listen to good music and drink cheap-er booze.

Now we are playing there! Stilluppsteypa take off in style, droning away lyrically par exellence.

FM Belfast strike the dansbeet uproot our dansfeet into the night. Disco?eque music, lovely atmosphere positive beyond.

Then we played. The New Elvis jopined us for this concert, took a break from his hefty world tour schedule. The concert was in Icelandic, back to the roots. Emphasis on the next level. Transcended upwards. Move on. New songs worked like a treat. Hard and tough. More new next week.

The July Good Evening To US

We are currently writing new songs for some future use, we will premiere some of them next week in Seyðisfjörður when we play the LUNGA festival. We were going through our archives and found a video we done on our mobile phones last year, yes that is 2005, in March.

The track is Good Evening, which later turned into Good Morning. The vocals were done at the same time we done the video recording. Location is Hlemmur in Reykjavik.

This must be one of the earliest video done on mobile phone cameras.

Just done the gig. Still sweating, no air conditioning in Klink and Bank centre. We did all the new songs, tough stuff. Highly enjoyable. Ghostigial were tonight: Curver, Kaktus, MrE, theNewElvis and Frosti.

Festive mode in the joint. We had space, only one slinging beer cans at us. He did that three times, what the heck was that for anyway? We don’t drink while we play.

We shall continue to record our new songs, done sofar 5 songs with vocals, that is recorded both english and icelandic.
Onwards…

Playing in the Dark

We are in Tími Studio in Klink og bank rehearsing the moves for Ibizafjord next weekend. We just heard from Mugison that we are to play a shorter set than usual which will leave us with only playing new songs. And also Bank – where is my money, as this is as free festival.

Ghostigital has started its preperation for the concert in Ísafjörður over the Easter weekend. If everything goes by our plan, we should be playing 7 new songs, songs sometimes called technical errors.
We are also looking at mixing The Last Gasp down and making it available sooner than we can imagine. That does not require a lot of imagination.

The completeness of it all

we have completed our concerts for october. we were really happy with our performance! what is this? this is ghostigital. we will now complete our live album of ghostigital concerts and the 10hour concert done in august. we shall also continue to add new songs into our repertoire. indeed this has been extremely giving to do this festival. well 3 times in 2 years means that we have played it very, hmmm? does that add up?

This is a picture from tonight. Of course it is! Ghost of a picture. We clean forgot to shoot more photos of us. Ahead drive to Paris and home. Short trip,800km. And very good concerts. New songs working like a dream.

Our next concert is in Reykjavík at the Icelandairwaves Festival on Thursday 21st of October.
