Badtaste4ever in Belgium – The Slides

We were last week in Brussel or the week before! Wim van Hooste, has once again turned up with great slides for those not present.

It was a special concert as Curver telecommunicated into the set while Ben Frost was at the controls. DJ Magic turned the vinyl and knobs and I just turned around like a headless chicken.
NOT TRUE!
I was fantastic! Ragnar Kjartansson did the last song with me, Not Clean, and the purification process was complete.

Reflection of the Day

How do we reflect upon the day? The time just before a concert, the time to line up the 5 or six song set. Ghostigital did exactly do that. ElisP and DJ Magic joined us for the concert at the living arts museum this evening.

Relaxed atmosphere and a loose set, such a lie! We were probably hard as anything. Playing with space, a diamond, or a square. Standing in the same beat with the same feat.

And we reflect by taking a photo into the window. Now you see us.

Out Kexed And Back In

As we never got out of Norway, but we did! Very smooth trip and a good place Norway was. Met good people there.

Ghostigital are in concert on Sunday 20th of February in Perlan in Reykjavik.

Our concert is part of the Winterfestival. On the bill is also Steintryggur, aka Siggi Baldursson. He will be playing an extraordinary drumkit made of broadcast paraboles.

We will be inviting along DJ Magic, ElvisP, Kaktus, Mugison, Sjón, Alex McNeil and Stilluppsteypa.

The concert will start at 15.00 and finish 4 hours later at 19.00. We call the concert TheLastGasp.
The venue Perlan is built around 5 hot water tanks, and we will be using the acoustics of the house as a member of Ghostigital.

Live from Lobster or Fame

DJ Magic and DJ B-Ruff playing from the Lobster or Fame exhibition in Reykjavik. Part of the complex is the Badtaste/Smekkleysa Record shop. The truly new HQ of action in Reykjavik.

K&B Soars Ahead

On my way back home on the bus after the gig at K&B. Took the .57 bus …still sweating a bit as the gig was on the edge…added a new dimension to our set. More noise and improv. Elis delivered proper on guitar and dj magic as well. Curver was at front of stage in front of me mixing magically. Not many people but certainly worth it. More later…
