We hit the tomato festival, or somthing like that, here in Grand Rapids. People are throwing tomatoes at each other in confined area, using dustbin lids as shields. I am so glad some of the traditions of the old world are upheld here, still.

Not been to the venue yet, it is an all ages show. Bring on the tomatoes...

Sitting in the Magic Stick, looking around the premises I realize that it is familiar to me, curver knows nothing. I have been here before and played this venue with the Sugarcubes on a very hot and humid night. It was a part of my first experience of extra hot nights in foreign land. I recollect as well that a chain was thrown on stage, I guess as a gift. It hit me in the face/eye. An accident. Now we are back or I am back as Ghostigital.

Going to do the gig, will return...

It was different from last night. More storytelling and soundscaping. Worked up heat. Load is a new song we're are working out. Will use trumpet on it tomorrow.

We are going to see Motown tomorrow.

We met !bach stradivarius the trumpet player today. This club looks great here in Chicago, hot and humid in the cellar.
Saw a man walking around with his oxygen tank in a handbag.

And we met the sofa. When we sit in the sofa we are sitting on its face, with our bum. Nice.
We had fun and the audience had fun we think. Excellent Chicago!!

They have started to sink Iceland today by filling up Hálslón.
We have become a Dam-nation.

It might be un_true, but we are in Skank Hall, where Spinal Tap played one of their most famous concert. We are so thrilled to be here. Hang on a second as we are going to play a concert....

...I am back...

We've done the gig, and I am sitting to the side and Big Business are playing, with Melvins joining in a short while.

We tried a different set tonight, Sense of Reason back in. Curver edited a new live version of Not Clean. The gig itself was a little tough soundwise for me on stage, pulled though through, ofcourse. It was powerful. Sjíkagó á morgun. Chicago tomorrow.

We have just done Madison, a tribute concert for our friend Siggi from Steintryggur, who used to live in Madison not so many moons ago but for many moons. Siggi, we must tell you, we rubbed your friends mightily with our sound tonight. No one spoke though Danish.

 

We drove down from Minneapolis, nearly without an incident as we drove right over a blown out tyre. It could have been our last. Now we drive as careful as before, but carefuller. We hooked up the computer to the car stereo, and Curver started working on new songs, so while driving we got spanking new Ghostigital sounds going.

 

Again, Melvins and Porn fantastic people. We are going to shift songs around to make the set tighter.

 

No casualties yet. Onwards Milwaukee.

We are sitting now in the venue, Melvins are doing soundcheck at the moment. We've spoken to everybody and we were made to feel very welcome. As it is the first gig we've had see how things are done and run.
What is special for us is that it is just the two of us, Curver and me MrE, so we will have to space out, and not miss our Ghostboys who've been withus live from the start.

We have landed in Minneapolis. Found the way to the hotel with the NeverLost system. Great start to the tour, not to get lost it was raining here abd we have been observing the people in some amazement.
Tomorrow we shall try to find mall of america, to stock up on gadgets for the car so that we can play music while we drive.
