What did we say, us boys in Ghostigital? And are you to believe them? These Questions will surely be answered in the online digizine ChaosControl. We did this interview in Hoboken last month. That day we did our last concert in the states, before returning to Iceland. And this is the interview!
Our next move will be to perfect the right turn left foot left. After that we head out to London at the end of the month. on the 25th of June, to do Wireless Festival in London. We are playing at 4.25pm on the XFM stage.

Hey, do you sample Minus - "The Long Face" (Halldor Laxness) on Black Sand? I was just listening to it (Minus) and there is a kind of squealing trumpet sound, which can also be heard in Black Sand (when it rises to a crescendo of sorts, while Dälek is rapping). I looked in Cod's liner notes, but didn't see anything...perhaps the song sounds a little similar because Curver may have produced them? Just wondering...
Posted by: Jennifer at June 9, 2006 6:51 PMAh, ok, one question answered (thanks to the Chaos interview):
Curver: "...I was producing a band called Minus..."
Posted by: Jennifer at June 9, 2006 6:55 PMHi Jennifer.
The squealing instrument is a saxophone played by meistro Hrafn Ásgeirsson.
I also got him to play on the Mínus album I produced. So it´s not a sample but the same guy playing which explains the likeness. He´s really good in playing these high pitched "freak out" chapters and plays in many of the songs on ICWT.
He´s moving to LA in the fall and will be missed. Maybe we should do a song with him before he leaves.
Hey Chris. Nice to hear from you. Rafting sounds exiting. Hope to see you next time.
The live projects are actually three, The Pearl Project, The Reykjavík Art Museum Project and normal concerts.
Well have to see how they end up release wise.
Thanks Curver! I will be on the lookout for more of his stuff, in the future, now that he will be state-side.
Posted by: Jennifer at June 12, 2006 3:59 PMThis is a great remix of Northern Lights you have done with Hairdoctor. Can we expect any more of this sort, or even another sort? This must work wonders in the nightclubs of Reykjavik?!
