We Return From The USA

Ghostigital has returned from the USA, in one piece, and very happy. We should say in 5 piece as we were five in the band. We have done our 5 gigs in 6 days, with no loss of anything. Sanity was in place the whole excursion and we enjoyed it. Sensational joined us in New York in a monumental appearance and performance. Did we record it? Yes we did. And for the record: it will be on our live album.

Next weekend we are playing at the Reykjavik Trópík festival in Iceland, where we will perform most of our album In Cod We Trust. The venue is a tent, outside the University of Iceland. More festival appearances should materialize later in the week.

Are They Gone Forever?

Ghostigital has not vanished off the face of the earth. We have not! We have just taken our good little bodies away from the island of ice, and trotted off to the land of the free, yes we are in US, we are it, that is US. We entered the City of Angels and San Francisco with our load of music and played the concerts.

We are off now to NY, for those not able to attend, please check the video section for our live gig at NASA some months ago.

These 3 first US concerts were good for us, as they varied in tone and texture. Energy was in place for all of them. NY here we come! And New Jersey!

Can They Pull It On/Off? What?

Ofcourse their pullovers. In Reykjavik spring is nearly here, with snow still coming down. So pull overs have been neccssary for us.

We opened up a new play here on the beach of Reykjavik last night, the beach is called Ylströndin in Nauthólsvík. Yl means Warm. Get it? Fantastic play, and our music treatment fabulous, ofcourse.

We have a gig in Reykjavik on the 12th of May at the opening of Word Music festival. This time around the theme is polypoetry. We will have a new song to play, based on the Icelandic lyrics of In Cod We Trust, as we sung it in Icelandic aswell.

Speaking of Icelandic: We did a concert in Reykjavík with GusGus last December. We recorded and Árni Sveins has done an edit for us of 4 tracks from the concert. The concert is in Icelandic as we use Icelandic in Iceland. Please be our guests and check out the concert footage in the video section. Or click this NASA word!
