"Not Clean" Video and Gorillaz feat Ghostigital

How surprised can Ghostigital be? Very surprised. And what do we look like when we are surprised? We look like a box of skyr? No we look just surprised, one could write a question mark into our face. At least.

And we got a fantastic surprise when Kiki-OW sent us a video to "Not Clean". We want to share it.

Monday 10th of April Gorillaz will release their new single  "Kids With Guns".
One of the extra tracks on the single is "Stop The Dams". This track features Ghostigital, and is in aid of Icelandic Nature.

Gorillaz featuring Ghostigital - Stop The Dams

"Stop the Dams" by the Gorillaz featuring Ghostigital is out 10th of April as an extra track on Gorillaz "Kids with Guns" single. Make sure to get yourself a copy. 

Næsta mánudag 9 apríl kemur út fjórða smáskífa af Demon Days með Gorillaz. Smáskífan inniheldur lögin Kids With Guns, El Mañana og lagið Stop The Dams sem að er unnið í samstarfi við Ghostigital.

Lagið er það sama og Damon spilaði með Ghostigital í Laugardagshöll á Hætta! Ertu að verða náttúrulaus-tónleikunum í byrjun árs en er hér í nýrri útgáfu.
Stuttu eftir tónleikana var ráðist í að taka lagið upp í hljóðveri og er þessi útgáfa mun hægari og tregablandnari en útgáfan sem flutt var á tónleikunum. Auk þess sem innskot Einars Arnar er nú viðameira
útsettum við í Ghostigital lúðrarsveitarkafla sem spilaður er af meðlimum Lúðrasveitar Vesturbæjar og Hrafnkeli Flóka (a.k.a. Kaktus) en hann er meðlimur í báðum þessum sveitum. Einnig var tekið upp plötuklór sem DJ Gísli Galdur spilaði og standard Ghostigital hljóðeffectar fylgdu með. Reyndar höfum við ekki heyrt loka hljóðblöndun lagins og hlökkum til þess.

Var lagið unnið í nokkrum hljóðverum bæði í Bretlandi og Íslandi ogvoru partar sendir fram og til baka í gegnum internetið.

Það er gaman að hafa fengið að halda lengra með þetta verkefni og styðja með því enn frekar við barráttuna gegn náttúruspillingu. Á umslagi plötunar er minnst á heimasíðu náttúrverndarsinna http://this.is/nature.

The fourth single to be taken from Gorillaz multi-platinum second album Demon Days is double A-side Kids With Guns/El Maana, released by Parlophone on 10th April.
B-sides include new track Stop The Dams, recorded with ex-Sugarcube Einar Orns new band Ghostigital and The Reykjavik West End Brass Band, in support of the Stop The Dams campaign http://this.is/nature. Also included is an unheard demo version of album track Dont Get Lost In Heaven, and CD and 7 also carry a limited edition poster. The DVD release features contributions from the winners of Gorillaz online talent competition Search For A Star.

7: A Kids with Guns/ AA El Maana

The animated promo for El Maana takes the audience back to where it all started: on the floating windmill island from first single Feel Good Inc. Set against a beautiful blue sky backdrop we see Gorillaz guitarist and songwriter Noodle sailing through the clouds on her laputa-style floating garden.
But it isnt long before the tranquility is interrupted by the arrival of two black helicopter gun ships What are they doing there? Who have they come for? Will it all end badly for Noodle and Gorillaz?



Directed by Jamie Hewlett and Pete Candeland and produced by Passion Pictures, the team behind all Gorillaz promos, El Maana is a breathtaking short film.
