Flying Saucers As We Know Them

thesquare.png

The system as we know it is gone. We have a situation. No compromise should be reached in the dialogue following the demise of the system.
We create and continue to create. We digest.
What do we know!
The images and sound from the square in Reykjavik some nights ago. Really magnificent situation.

We got back from Nightmare Before Christmas in Minehead in one piece. There was a small car crash on the way, we got through ok. The ATP festival was excellent. We enjoyed it thorougly.
Our set was a small 13 song set, doing new and old songs. It was wicked, brutal and out of all senses. Kaktus played excellent trumpet.
We have been promoting Aero and will do so even more now in the new year. Aero is here to read about!
The photo here is from Sophie Simpson on Flickr. Hope it is ok!?

Sirkus Requiem is upon Us

sirkus_req.jpg

No sleep for the wicked, we need them to start saying their blessing. And we have done so with Finnbogi Pétursson when we recorded Sirkus Requiem. Our concerts were in Reykjavik and in London this year and now we have released these recording upon the world, via Smekkleysa SM, today.

This is a 30 minutes piece and it was composed especially for Sirkus Bar in Reykjavík. It is another production by Ghostigital and Finnbogi Pétursson.

Sirkus Hits London

The Gallery tore down the Sirkus bar in Reykjavik and installed it in London. Among the artists they brought along we us and Finnbogi Pétursson.
We played our Sirkus Requiem. This is October 2008
What did we see?
