Nominations Is The New Thang
GHOSTIGITAL is a very happy creature today 
We got nominated in 3 catagories for THE ICELANDIC MUSIC AWARDS. The awards ceremony will be held early year 2007. Our category is Other Music, or something inventive like that! Stay tuned.
IN COD WE TRUST – “Record of the Year”
NOT CLEAN - “Song of the Year”.
NORTHERN LIGHTS – “Video of the Year”.

We are also playing an all-ages concert next saturday in Reykjavík.
Nei góðan daginn vinir,
mikið hresstist Ghostigital við að sjá tilnefningar til Íslensku tónlistarverðlaunanna, og hvað Bo og Bu voru áberandi samkvæmt Fréttablaðinu.
Lay Low með 4 og Pétur Ben með 3. Bo og Bu með 2.
Við hresstumst enn við þegar við töldum okkar tilnefningar því að við vorum ekki með eina, ekki tvær, heldur þrjár: já 3. Þetta er hreint ótrúlegt og næstum því óteljandi!

Við í Ghostigital erum að spila í fatabúðinni Liborius næsta laugardag.
Liborus er í Mýrargötu, ská á móti Hamborgarabúllunni, beint á móti Slippnum, og næstu því við hliðina á hvar ég, Einar Örn, ólst upp!
Þetta er einu aldurstakmarks-lausu tónleikarnir sem að við við höfum spilað í Reykjavík þannig að endilega látið vini ykkar vita og mætið sjálf.
Tónleikarnir byrja stundvíslega klukkan 17:00 og eru um hálftíma langir og það er ókeypis inn.

Hailing from Iceland, Ghostigital has gone to extreme measures into taking an entirely new direction for not only hip-hop, but music entirely. Consisting of ex-Sugarcube Einar Örn on vocals, multi-instrumentalist Curver, and a wide range of guests ranging from Dälek to The Falls Mark E. Smith, In Cod We Trust is perhaps the most experimental, uncompromising, noisiest, most insane form of music ever recorded.
While keeping hip-hop as its base for vocal structure, musically the album features elements of extreme noise, free-jazz/fusion, electronics, IDM, and experimental punk/hardcore. Ghostigital sounds nothing at all like any other rap artist that has ever cut an album. Einar Örn has a very distinct quality to him- imagine Curly from The Three Stooges infected with rage rapping with a deep Icelandic accent. Couple those vocals with guests who normally sound like hardcore street rappers and wicked sounds such as thrashing horns (featured on the albums best song, Black Sand w/ Dälek); this is a record that can get under ones skin. Fuck granny and the subdivision dwellers trying to scare the wig off of her, this record is for adventurous ears only.
